Preservation and maintenance of log structures- This 16 page booklet is published by the Log Homes Council. It provides technical background and a comparison of maintenance and durability between log home construction and traditional construction methods.

Prevention of air & water Infiltration- This 22 page booklet is published by the Log Homes Council provides technical background and a comparison of air and water infiltration using log home construction verses traditional construction methods.

Log Homes Council (LHC)- The Log Homes Council is an association of log home builders with a published code of ethics. It is a subsidiary of the National Association of Home Builders. Suwannee River Log Homes is a long standing member of LHC.

Log Homes Reports- Excellent web site that rates the various log home companies based on the experiences of customers that have actually purchased homes from them. Check it out!

Elmira Stove Works- These folks make the coolest stoves and other kitchen appliances. They are not cheap but they are neat. Pretty cool web site too! Enough said.

Stone Henge Roofing Products- These folks produce metal roofs that look like tile or shingle roof. They are incredibly durable and beautiful.

Metro Roof Products- These folks also produce metal roofs that look like tile or shingle roof. Engineered to handle up to 150 mile per hour winds. Do you live in Florida, Texas, Mississippi, Georgia, the Carolinas or Louisiana?

MapQuest- Locate any address in the United States (be sure to read the description for MSN Maps & Directions below). This page can provide specific directions to any valid address.  This page also offers an aerial view of nearly any point in the country. You don't ever have to get lost again! This works great for those addresses that are way out in the boondocks or in case you ever have to go to Newark, NJ (the most confusing city on earth).

MSN Maps & Directions- Very similar to Mapquest this site can help you locate or print directions to any address in the United States. Be aware that sometimes either MapQuest or MSN may get a little "confused". When you absolutely have to be there on time better print maps from both sites! We had a customer tell us that one of these sites directed them down a taxiway at a major metropolitan airport...
